Last Thursday we had a hosted a Retirement Reception honoring Ron Katz at the NC Arboretum courtyard. Over the past month, we have received hundreds of notes thanking Ron for his steadfast service to the Asheville and Buncombe County community. As you flip through the pages in the book that we created for him, you can see the many, many ways he has touched people’s lives. There is a thread which ties all of these comments together: compassion. Ron is a deeply kindhearted soul.
Celeste Collins put it best when she said: “Your social-justice spirit, dedicated work and loving heart make this world a better place!”
