If you enjoy working in a collaborative, cross-sector environment, developing and implementing processes and systems, supporting partners, and providing space for youth leadership, then United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County (UWABC) is where you want to be.  The Network Manager is part of the United for Youth (U4Y) team, serving in an integral role by facilitating cross-sector and community-wide collaboration in support of the priorities set by the Leadership Team and network to accomplish our bold community goal (BCG) that by 2035, ALL Asheville City and Buncombe County students graduate from high school ready and fully prepared to pursue their goals and dreams while holding true to UWABC’s long-term strategic vision.

Position responsible for U4Y strategic, cross-sector workgroup development and management, providing ongoing support to U4Y partners and  community stakeholders, and engaging in cross-departmental collaboration with other UWABC backbone staff.

  • Full-time: 40 hrs/week
  • Salary and Benefits: $50,000 to $53,000 plus full benefits, including: paid vacation, sick and personal leave; employer contributions to 401(k), contributions to health, dental and vision insurance benefits, life and disability insurance, employee assistance program, lifestyle spending account, and coaching and support.

If you enjoy working with organization-wide CRM databases that contain a variety of data types while engaging an interdepartmental team to ensure data integrity, then United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County (UWABC) is where you want to be. The Database Administrator is part of the Finance and Operations team.  UWABC is switching to a new CRM based on Salesforce and the ideal candidate would bring previous experience of implementing a new CRM (with support of the vendor), including training staff, working with departments to set up new workflows and data integrity processes, prepare and analyze data reports and more while holding true to UWABC’s long-term strategic vision.

Responsible for overall CRM implementation, data quality, including the development of data standards and other strategies that optimize efficiency and enable proactive strategic decision-making across all departments.  Works with an assigned point of contact in each department regarding department needs, data integrity, reporting needs, and training.

  • Full-time: 40 hrs/week
  • Salary and Benefits: $58,500 to $65,000 plus full benefits, including: paid vacation, sick and personal leave; employer contributions to 401(k), contributions to health, dental and vision insurance benefits, life and disability insurance, employee assistance program, lifestyle spending account, and coaching and support.

If you love working in a strong team environment, are an effective relationship builder with public speaking experience and have a passion for equity-centered philanthropy, then United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County (UWABC) is where you want to be. The Resource Development Manager is part of the Resource Development team and works closely with donors, other departments, and volunteers while holding true to UWABC’s long-term strategic vision.

Position is responsible for developing, executing, and achieving UWABC’s fundraising and donor engagement objectives within a portfolio of workplace accounts. The successful candidate will contribute to the achievement of United Way’s mission and vision by utilizing extensive knowledge and skills in the areas of fundraising, business-to-business relationship development, and account management. 

  • Full-time: 40 hrs/week
  • Salary and Benefits: $47,500 - $52,800 plus full benefits, including: paid vacation, sick and personal leave; employer contributions to 401(k), contributions to health, dental and vision insurance benefits, life and disability insurance, employee assistance program, lifestyle spending account, and coaching and support.
