Days of Impact — a two-day event held twice a year — provides local companies, organizations and individuals with an opportunity and outlet to become involved and work for positive change in our community. This week, close to 500 volunteers from 32 local businesses and organizations fanned out across Buncombe County to tackle 36 different projects. To say that this work would not be possible without their efforts is an understatement for sure. From mulching to painting to tutoring and moving a family from homelessness into a new home, the impact that these volunteers have had is incredible.
